Object The object of the game is to predict the outcome of the next roll of the dice.
 
Overview There are many bets that can be made on Craps, making it difficult to give a brief overview of the game. In Craps, you are not limited to one bet. You can make a variety of bets simultaneously. We highly recommend that you read this entire section to get a good understanding of the many aspects of the game. It might seem intimidating at first, but once you gain an understanding of the game you should find it action-packed and very exciting.
Craps Lingo Here is some Craps lingo you should become familiar with.

  • Natural is 7 or 11.
  • Craps is 2, 3 or 12.
  • Point can be 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10.
  • Shooter is the person throwing the dice. That would be you!
  • Come-Out Roll is the first roll of a hand or any roll where a point has not been established.
  • Right bets are betting with the shooter .
  • Wrong bets are betting against the shooter .
  • Hard Ways are 4, 6, 8, and 10 thrown as a pair.
  • Easy Ways are 4, 6, 8, and 10 thrown any way other than a pair.
  • Proposition Bets are located on the right side of the gaming table . These bets consist of the Hard Ways, Any Craps, Any 7, and 2, 3, 11, and 12.

 

Game Rules

  • All Place bets are automatically off on the come-out roll.
  • Hard Ways are automatically off on the come-out roll.

 

Table Conditions

  • Minimum bet is $1.
  • Maximum bet is $300.

 

Betting Options

 

Bet Name & Location Explanation & Odds Placing & Removing Bets
Pass Line (A) You win if the first or “come-out” roll is a Natural and lose if it is Craps. If the come-out roll is a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10, this is the Point. After the come-put roll, you win if the Point is thrown again before a 7. You can take odds on the Pass Line. Pays 1:1 w/o odds. Place/increase anytime. Cannot remove/decrease once a Point has been established.
Don't Pass Line (B) Opposite of the pass line. On the come-out roll, you win on 2 or 3 (12 is a push) and lose on a Natural. After the come-out roll, you win if a 7 is rolled before the Point. You can lay odds on the Don't Pass Line. Pays 1:1 w/o odds. Place before come-out roll. Remove/decrease anytime.
Come Bets (C) Similar to a Pass Line bet except that you are betting on the next roll of the dice as if it were the come-out roll. If the next roll is a Natural, you win. If it is Craps, you lose. All other numbers create a “Come Point” and if the Come Point is rolled before a 7, you win. Come bets are moved to the come line when a Come Point is established. You can take odds on Come bets. Pays 1:1 w/o odds. Place anytime after a Point has been established. Cannot remove once a Come Point has been established.
Don't Come Bets (D) Opposite of the Come bet. If the next roll of the dice is a 2 or 3 (12 is a push), you win. If it is a Natural, you lose. All other numbers create a “Don't Come Point” and if a 7 is rolled before the Don't Come Point, you win. Don't Come bets are moved to the Don't Come line when a Don't Come Point is established. You can lay odds on Don't Come bets. Pays 1:1 w/o odds. Place anytime after a Point has been established. Remove/decrease anytime.
Place Bets to Win (E) Place bets can be made on numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10. If you place a number to win, you get paid when that number is rolled before a 7. Place Bets to Win lose when a 7 is rolled. Pays 9:5 on 4 & 10, 7:5 on 5 & 9 and 7:6 on 6 & 8. Place/increase anytime after a Point has been established. Remove/decrease anytime.
Place Bets to Lose (F) Opposite of Place Bets to Win. If you place a number to lose, you get paid when a 7 is rolled before the number you placed. Pays 5:11 on 4 &10, 5:8 on 5 & 9 and 4:5 on 6 & 8. Place/increase anytime after a Point has been established. Remove/decrease anytime.
Field Bets (G) These are one-roll bets. You win if the next roll of the dice is 3, 4, 9, 10, or 11 and you win 2:1 if the next roll is a 2 or 12. Field bets lose if the next roll of the dice is 5, 6, 7, or 8. Pays 1:1. Place anytime. Cannot remove (one-roll bet).
Any Craps (H) One-roll bet that the next roll of the dice will be Craps. Pays 7:1. Place anytime. Cannot remove (one-roll bet).
Any 7 (I) One-roll bet that the next roll of the dice will be 7. Pays 4:1. Place anytime. Cannot remove (one-roll bet).
Horn Bet (J) This is a four-unit bet that the next roll will be a 2, 3, 11, or 12. These bets can also be made individually. Pays 14:1 on 3 &11 and 29:1 on 2 & 12. Place anytime. Cannot remove (one-roll bet).
Hard Ways (K) Bets on the numbers 4, 6, 8, and 10 paired or the Hard Way. This bet wins when the pair is thrown and loses when the number is thrown any other way (Easy Way) or when a 7 is thrown. Pays 7:1 on 4 & 10 and 9:1 on 6 & 8. Place/increase anytime. Remove/decrease anytime.
Big 6 & Big 8 (L) A bet that a 6 or 8 will roll before a 7. Pays 1:1. Place/increase anytime after a point has been established. Remove/decrease anytime.
